Our West Coast premiere in Olympia tonight was amazing. Capitol Theater was beautiful, 200 people were there, and we had our first q&a with the musicians! It was perfect. Thanks to Kanako Wynkoop for packing the house, Calvin Johnson at K Records for the sponsorship, and Olympia Film Fest for the warm reception!
And a great film! I talked Groove up with a great many film-fest goers today (Wed 11/12) and the consensus was that you’ve got a really great love letter to Seattle’s soul scene. Really looking forward to buying the DVD sometime soon…
